Medal of Honor Wiki

Well if you bought BF3 today and opened it up, on the back of the online pass is -- what else? -- a teaser for the second modern Medal of Honor game. According to an article done on EuroGamer back in June (which I, shockingly enough, missed), MoH and BF are going to alternate each year -- so MoH2010 > BF3 > MoH2012 > BF(BC3/2143/1944/V2) > MoH2013, and onwards. The Official MoH website has been updated with two new blogs. One is from Greg Goodrich, regarding Medal of Honor 2012.

"Hello everyone. This is a HUGE week for shooter fans around the world with the release of Battlefield 3 from our good friends and colleagues at DICE! Make sure to check it out. You might even find a little something Medal of Honor related in the Battlefield 3 game box.
Here at Danger Close Games we have also been extremely busy working on the next installment of Medal of Honor. I can't wait to fill you in on the details.
For those of you who played last year's game, you may recognize a connection to the unit patches we created for the Tier 1 AFO Teams, "Wolfpack" and "Neptune" - as well as the 1/75th Ranger and "Gunfighter" badges. Unit patches are synonymous with the military community and have a rich heritage. Today we unveil the very first in a series of four new unit patches from the next Medal of Honor game. We are not quite ready to release the name of this unit yet, but it should give you a good idea of what type of team you'll be a part of in our upcoming game. Make sure to follow us on Facebook and Twitter to get the latest details as soon as they are released.
WE ARE EXCITED TO KICK OFF OUR NEW "MOH DOWNRANGE" BLOG SERIES
I'd also like to take a moment to introduce my good friend Mark Christianson, Executive Editor of "Off Duty Gamers" and a part of our Medal of Honor family. Mark is a retired Paratrooper from the United States Army, 82nd Airborne Division, and has the unique ability to combine the insights of a proud military service with the digital world of shooter games. And he does it like no one else. We are excited to have Mark kick off our new "MOH Downrange" blog series with his overview of the tradition and heritage of the military unit and morale patch.
Lastly, and most importantly, the team here at Danger Close Games would once again like to say "Thanks" to our servicemen and women around the globe. This Veteran's Day, November 11th, will mark the 12th anniversary of the very first Medal of Honor. A game which paid tribute to the greatest generation and was born of a warrior's experience. As we continue to push forward, your commitment and sacrifice remains the heartbeat of this franchise and we are privileged and honored to tell your story.
Stay tuned for more to come.

The above quote pretty much sums up everything. What we now know about MoH2012 is that it'll focus around four units, much like MoH2010 -- but the first patch is different from any that was found in MoH2010. It looks almost like a cheshire cat grin.

The second post regards the unit patches (actually called morale patches) found in MoH2010, and what they mean.
