A Tomahawk is a type of axe traditionally resembling a hatchet with a straight shaft.

The Tomahawk is Voodoo's melee weapon in the campaign. He can be seen using it in Breaking BagramTaliban fighter that tries to surprise attack him, but gets counter-attacked instead. The Tomahawk also makes a minor appearance in Neptune's Net, when Mother and Rabbit come upon an abandoned building. They find Voodoo's tomahawk stuck in the spine of a dead enemy combatant.
The Tomahawk cannot be used by the player.

The Tomahawk appears in Medal of Honor: Warfighter as a melee tool, being able to kill in two hits, or finishing off an injured enemy in one hit. It is seen in the multiplayer reveal trailer and the killfeed for another gameplay of the game.
There is also the ability to perform a takedown, an instant kill with the Tomahawk, which will lock the player in an animation that will kill the enemy being takedown after the animation. To do this, the player presses the melee button twice to start the animation. It can also be used for door breaching after 4 headshots under the slow-motion event when you surprise the enemy after destroying the door.
