The shotgun slugs are the close-quarters variant of the Open-Tip Ammunition. Each slug is comprised of a single metallic shell which is propelled in the same manner as the standard buckshot rounds. The single metal slug is much heavier than the metal pellets and deals significantly more damage than each pellet. At range, the slug slows down drastically reducing the damage to a non-lethal wound at medium to long range.
