"1st Special Forces Operational Detachment – Delta, modeled on Britainʹs SAS and known as just “the unit,“ they are compact, versatile and in MOH, carry full Ops Core anti-blast damage armor for those “special“ missions."
— Battlelog Description

The 1st Special Forces Operational Detachment-Delta (1st SFOD-D) more commonly known as the Delta Force or The Unit, is one of the United States secretive Tier One counter-terrorism and Special Mission Units (SMU). It is part of the U.S. Army and was formed under the designation 1st SFOD-D. Originally known as Combat Applications Group, it is now officially referred to by the Department of Defense as Army Compartmented Elements. Delta Force, along with its Navy counterpart DEVGRU also known as SEAL Team Six, are the United States' primary counter-terrorism units.

Delta Force has been confirmed to be a faction for the Medal of Honor: Warfighter multiplayer. They are shown in pre-released demos as the Demolitions class, but in the full game, all six classes will be available.

Medal of Honor (2010)

In Medal of Honor (2010), players can play as Deuce, a member of AFO Wolfpack, an SFOD-D Advance Force Operations team. The operators of AFO Wolfpack wear casual clothing (i.e. Dusty's FDNY baseball cap, black top, and tan camouflage pants) complemented by load-carrying vests. They are armed with M4A1s, and, in Dusty and Deuce's case, M110 sniper rifles and MP7 submachine guns.

Medal of Honor: Warfighter

Delta is not seen in Medal of Honor: Warfighter's campaign; the closest we see is Dusty, who is now working for the CIA's OGA. In the Multiplayer, they are a featured unit, wearing Desert Camouflage uniforms while playing for the tan team and Multicam for green. They are seen with a variety of weapons, including the LaRue 7.62, the HK 416, the Mk 16 PDW, the M240b machine gun, the LaRue 5.56, and the Daniel Defense Mk 18 carbine.
