Platt is a British soldier who enlisted in the British Army sometime prior to 1942, before joining the Special Air Service and being deployed to North Africa.
North African campaignEdit
On the evening of 17 May 1942, Platt and two comrades were being held within a German outpost in Tunisia following their capture. The facility is attacked by Lieutenant William Holt, an American agent with the Office of Strategic Services, as well as elements of the 7th Armoured Division. After clearing out pockets of resistance throughout the bunker, Holt succeeds in freeing Platt and the two other captured commandos, Sergeant Abbott and Corporal Rissik, who eagerly offer to assist Holt in completing his objectives.
