Medal of Honor Wiki is many things. This page lists what Medal of Honor Wiki is not.

...always correct

With being a wiki, and being able for close to anything being able to be changed by anyone, there are times when people will change the content of a page to be incorrect.

...fanon

There are two things in most fictional universes: canon and fanon.

Canon is official stuff

Fanon can be two things. It can be fan fiction, and it can be unofficial, but most of the time widely accepted, facts.

Medal of Honor Wiki may unintentionally contain fanon, but we try not to.

...a crystal ball

The Medal of Honor Wiki cannot predict the future. Articles are not the place for speculation of any kind. Any future content should be verified and discussed before being used in main space articles.

...a site for anything not on Medal of Honor

Many of the Medal of Honor series games are World War II shooters. Just because many of our articles are on World War II does not mean that other World War II things (like Battlefield, Band of Brothers, Saving Private Ryan) should be written about here.

This doesn't have to just apply to World War II topics, though. Any pages, or content within pages, that aren't related to Medal of Honor will be removed.

  • The Battlefield and the CoD Wiki issues are no longer welcome here
  • Do not post anything provocative on issues from elsewhere (the definition of provocative is at the admin's disgression).

...a blog

Simple. Medal of Honor Wiki is not a blog. We are here to give information to the community, not joke about idiots we found on a multiplayer game.

...a dictatorship

The Medal of Honor Wiki is not ruled by one person without question.

...official

This site is 100% fan-maintained. Everyone here are just fans. No one here (barring the rare) works for any of the Medal of Honor-making companies.

...an oligarchy

The Medal of Honor Wiki is not ruled by a few people without question.

...a republic

We do not vote on a single user to be the leader of us for a set amount of time.

...a democracy

Although community consensus generally governs how the wiki is run, every single user does not get to vote on every single decision, and there are certain situations where a majority vote will not guarantee the expected outcome.

...Wikipedia

Even though the format of this site and Wikipedia is similar, and the basis that it is an encyclopedia that anyone can edit, Medal of Honor Wiki is not Wikipedia. It is not even owned by the Wikimedia foundation. Medal of Honor Wiki is owned by Wikia.
