- "A third iteration of the ʹpineappleʹ grenade developed in WW II, this fragmentation grenade has a danger radius of 15 meters (45 ft.) and a kill radius of 5 meters (15 ft.). It was shaped like a baseball to take advantage of natural throwing abilities developed by recruits to facilitate training and application of the weapon."
