The Combat knife is a close-quarters weapon, employed by many armed forces present and past as a thrusting weapon, often between 4 and 12 inches in length.

Medal of Honor: Airborne[]

Its earliest rendition is the MP40's ceremonial dagger, the last upgrade available for the weapon. When used, the default melee of hitting the enemy with the buttstock is replaced by a downwards stab with the knife. It is capable of killing most enemies in one hit, although the higher-level enemies will still take multiple attacks. As an upgrade, it can be used in conjunction with the weapon's other upgrades, including extended magazines, increasing the weapon's overall effectiveness threefold. This dagger is only available via pre-mission upgrades to the weapon and is not found on dead enemies.

Medal of Honor (2010)[]

In the newest Medal of Honor from 2010, it is available to all Coalition classes, and is a one-hit kill, dealing 120 damage, taking 0.3 seconds from the time it is engaged to hit its target. Its OpFor counter-part is the Axe which is also used in multiplayer and has the same statistics, with differences on lying in the animation. It is also featured in singleplayer, used by the player as a melee weapon.
