The Carcano is a bolt-action, stripper-clip fed rifle utilized by the Italian Army in Medal of Honor: Allied Assault: Breakthrough. It carries six rounds in its internal magazine, and does high damage. The Carcano was the standard issued rifle to Italian soldiers in World War 2. It was produced from 1891 to 1945 and it is still remain service in a few countries. The Carcano is famous for beign used in the assassination of US President John F. Kennedy in 1963.
The Carcano only appears in the third expansion pack Breakthorugh where it's one of the primary weapons of Italian soldiers. The Carcano first can be picked up in Point Carriere from an Italian soldier. The Carcano has high damage but slow rate of fire. It is advised to use the rifle from long range to pick off enemies from a safe distance. The Carcano can be choosen as a starting weapon for Italian soldiers in multiplayer.
